Ex-1MDB Chief Ready to Testify Against Najib, Reports Say

Ex-1MDB President Arul Kandasamy is ready to testify against former Malaysia Prime Minister Najib Razak in the trial for their alleged roles in tampering with a state audit report into the troubled investment fund.

Arul is standing by the statement he gave the country’s anti-graft agency when the probe was launched into the alleged tampering of 1MDB’s audit report in 2018, local media including The Star and Malay Mail reported, citing his lawyer N. Sivananthan as saying during a court proceeding on Tuesday.
