Eight Foreign Nationals Accused of Global Insider Trading Scheme

Eight foreign nationals alleged to be members of a global insider trading network have been indicted on securities fraud and money laundering charges, according to a superseding indictment unsealed in Boston on Tuesday.

The indictment, filed in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts, accuses the defendants of recruiting investment bankers and corporate insiders to obtain material non-public information about publicly traded companies, trading on that information, and recruiting an international network of traders to also trade on that information in exchange for kickbacks.
