DOJ Should Probe Ticketmaster-Live Nation, Senators Say (1)

Senators Richard Blumenthal and Amy Klobuchar called on the Department of Justice to investigate Ticketmaster-Live Nation over the state of competition in the live entertainment and ticketing industry. Live Nation shares fell 2.4% in postmarket trading.

• Blumenthal and Klobuchar told DOJ Assistant Attorney General for the Antitrust Division Jonathan Kanter in a letter that the department should “take action, as appropriate, to enforce the antitrust laws and restore competition to these important markets”
