Former Dean Foods Co. Chairman Tom Davis was put under house arrest ahead of his scheduled January surrender date to start serving a two-year prison sentence for handing insider stock tips to gambler Billy Walters.
U.S. District Judge P. Kevin Castel summoned Davis to his New York courtroom Nov. 3 to determine if he should immediately be sent to prison based upon the content of emails from his ex-wife Louise and his estranged wife Terie sent to the judge during the past month.
