Right-wing social media influencer Douglass Mackey was convicted in a New York federal court for conspiring to deprive people of the their right to vote in the 2016 presidential election and now faces up to 10 years in jail.
Mackey, who was also known as Ricky Vaughn online, was convicted by a jury in the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York for using social media to prevent people from voting for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
