Jeffrey Sabol has been sentenced to prison in connection with the Jan. 6 breach of the US Capitol, the Justice Department said Thursday.
US District Judge Rudolph Contreras sentenced Sabol to 63 months in prison and 36 months of supervised release as well as ordered him to pay $32,165.65 in restitution, according to the DOJ.
He was convicted of three felony charges of federal robbery; obstruction of an official proceeding; and aiding and abetting, and assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers with a deadly or dangerous weapon and aiding and abetting, the DOJ said.
