Blockchain project “incubator” CardStarter Ltd. sufficiently stated fraud, breach of contract, and other claims against SundaeSwap Inc. for allegedly reneging on a handshake deal to jointly develop a cryptocurrency exchange, a federal court ruled.
Claims involving a separate written contract to collaborate on the decentralized exchange may also proceed, Chief Judge Richard Seeborg said Wednesday for the US District Court for the Northern District of California. The exchange was intended for a certain type of currency, tokens that run on the Cardano blockchain, according to the court.
