A California man has been charged with multiple felony and misdemeanor offenses for his actions during the breach of the US Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, according to the Justice Department Wednesday.
A criminal complaint filed in the US District Court for the District of Columbia charges Michael Haltom with civil disorder and obstruction of an official proceeding, both felony offenses.
Included in the list of misdemeanors offenses Haltom is charged with are destruction of government property, disorderly or disruptive conduct in a Capitol building, and demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol building, said the DOJ.
