Associates of Russian Spy Found Guilty of Export Violations

Three associates of an admitted Russian spy were found guilty Oct. 26 of helping him illegally supply Moscow with computer chips and other high-tech goods that could help the country’s military and intelligence agencies (United States v. Fishenko).

Alexander Posobilov, Shavkat Abdullaev and Anastasia Diatlova, all former employees of Houston-based Arc Electronics, were convicted of conspiracy and export violations.

Judge Sterling Johnson Jr. presided over the jury trial in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
