Alexander Brothers Must Face Sex-Trafficking Charges, Judge Says

The prosecution of former luxury real estate brokers Tal and Oren Alexander and their brother Alon Alexander on sex-trafficking charges can proceed, after a judge rejected most of the defense arguments seeking to dismiss criminal allegations against them.

US District Judge Valerie Caproni, in a ruling made public Wednesday, said the charges against the brothers were legally sufficient to move ahead with a case that alleges a pattern of rape and sexual assault over more than a decade. The judge originally issued her ruling on Oct. 17, but it remained sealed pending redactions and additional filings by the government. ...
