Alexander Brothers Possibly Immoral, Not Criminal, Defense Says

A defense lawyer for one of three brothers accused of using their wealth and glamorous lifestyles to traffic women for sex said in trial opening statements that jurors might find their conduct “immoral” but that it wasn’t criminal.

Oren, Tal and Alon Alexander were attractive to women, lawyer Teny Geragos said Tuesday in Manhattan federal court, and they didn’t shy away from the attention. “These were single men who liked and pursued women at nightclubs, at restaurants, at bars,” she said. “That’s not trafficking, that’s hooking up.”
