Zoom Poised to Win Preliminary Approval of User Privacy Accord

Zoom Video Communications Inc. won initial approval from a judge for its proposed $85 million deal that would resolves claims it misled consumers about encryption security, illegally shared data with Facebook Inc. and failed to protect private meetings from disruptive hacking attacks known as “zoom bombings.”
