Yamaha Can’t Be Sued in California Over Alleged Corrosion

A proposed class action against Yamaha Motor Co. and its U.S. affiliate over allegedly premature corrosion in outboard motors was properly dismissed, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ruled March 24 (Williams v. Yamaha Motor Co., 2017 BL 93466, 9th Cir., 15-55924, 3/24/17).
