A vendor that sells Chicago Baseball magazine outside Wrigley Field can’t recover damages for alleged injuries from an ordinance that once barred it from unlicensed peddling outside the stadium after the Seventh Circuit found Left Field Media LLC didn’t show any injury.
Left Field Media failed to specify how much, if anything, it paid in an effort to comply with the ordinance before it was amended in 2016 to allow it to operate outside the ballpark, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit said Friday.
