Two law firms sued the Trump administration Friday, challenging executive orders against them that the firms say are meant to scare off opposition to the president.
Jenner & Block and WilmerHale filed separate suits in a federal court in Washington. They asked courts to block the orders targeting the firms over their ties to Robert Mueller, the former special counsel who led a probe into the 2016 Trump campaign’s alleged coordination with Russian state officials.
