Wells Fargo Hit With Race, Age Bias Claims From Ex-Employee (1)

A former Wells Fargo Bank NA employee claims the company and her supervisors discriminated against her based on her race and age, and retaliated against her for complaining.

Alice Marie Day, who worked at the bank in public policy and government relations for more than 15 years, claims she was fired in 2023 “because she is Black, in her late fifties, and made protected discrimination complaints.” Her suit, filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, asserts violations of Title VII, Section 1981, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act.
