USC Defeats Antisemitism Suit Over Pro-Palestine Campus Protests

University of Southern California at least tentatively defeated a proposed class action that argued the school failed to protect Jewish faculty and students from pro-Palestinian demonstrations they perceived as physically threatening.

The spring 2024 protests at USC over Israel’s wartime conduct left some Jewish students and faculty members concerned that they’d face physical harm if they attempted to cross through encampments on the university’s campus, according to the lawsuit.
