US Wins Court Order Letting it Use Some Trump Documents in Probe

The US Justice Department can use about 100 documents with classified markings seized from former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in an ongoing criminal investigation and national security review, a federal appeals court said.

The US 11th Circuit Court of Appeals issued a temporary stay Wednesday, pausing a federal judge’s order that barred the Justice Department from using the materials while a special master reviews about 11,000 documents taken by the FBI during an August search of the former president’s estate.
