Florida is asking the US Supreme Court to reinstate a state law that makes it a misdemeanor to knowingly admit a child to a drag show.
In an emergency request directed to Justice Clarence Thomas on Tuesday, Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation Secretary Melanie Griffin asked the court to let the law be enforced against everyone but the Orlando restaurant that challenged it.
