The Department of Justice sided with a Jewish professor in her hostile work environment lawsuit seeking to hold CUNY liable for allowing antisemitism during campus protests supporting Hamas.

The court must distinguish between the students’ right to speak and the professor’s right to be free from a hostile work environment, the DOJ told the US District Court for the Southern District of New York on Monday.
