Urban Air Indoor Parks Beats Suit by Franchisee Association

Urban Air indoor adventure parks franchisor UATP Management LLC shook off claims that it breached franchise agreements by unilaterally imposing fees and requiring the use of certain vendors and suppliers after the Northern District of Texas found the Adventure Park Franchisee Association Inc. lacks standing to sue on behalf of more than 50 Urban Air franchisees.

APFA failed to establish associational standing because the plaintiffs’ claims and relief requested “require individualized, fact-intensive inquiries,” the court said Thursday.
