UBS Gets Temporary Order Enforcing Nonsolicitation Agreements

UBS Financial Services Inc. has prevented, at least temporarily, three of its former employees from allegedly violating their contracts by soliciting clients to move with them to a competitor.

It “appears” that UBS has “a high likelihood of success” on the merits of its breach of contract claims against the three ex-UBS financial advisers, said Judge Susan K. DeClercq, of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, Monday as she granted in part the company’s motion for an ex parte temporary restraining order.
