Donald Trump has resumed one of his most successful priorities as president, the appointment of federal judges, and the Republican-led Senate is poised to act before his term is up in January.
The White House on Friday named Judge Raul M. Arias-Marxuach to fill the seat vacated by Judge Juan R. Torruella after his death.
Arias-Marxuach is currently a judge on the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, a seat he was appointed to by Trump in 2019.
