Trump Judicial Pick Would Add to Majority in Oklahoma District (1)

U.S. Magistrate Judge Bernard M. Jones is President Donald Trump’s newest planned selection for a federal district court in Oklahoma where he’s already appointed several judges.

The White House announced Oct. 2 that Trump intends to nominate Jones to the court where he already works, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. It already has three Trump-appointed judges and another nominee in the pipeline. The Oklahoma City-based court has three vacancies.
