Trump-Era Health-Care Worker Conscience Rule Cases Still on Hold

Litigation remains on hold over a Trump administration rule that would withhold funding from any health-care provider that punishes an employee for refusing to violate their religious beliefs.

The US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit has held four cases in abeyance for over a year, based on representations by the US Health & Human Services Department that a new rule is in the works.
