Texas SG Looks to Build on Appellate Success at Baker Botts

Scott Keller plans to use his experience in nationally significant cases to strengthen the U.S. Supreme Court appellate and constitutional law practice at Baker Botts, the former Texas solicitor general told Bloomberg Law.

The BigLaw firm announced Sept. 10 that Keller, solicitor general for three years and a one-time clerk for former Justice Anthony Kennedy, would co-chair the revived practice in Washington.

He’ll also work on cases in New York and California, and his co-chairs include former Supreme Court clerks Aaron Streett and Evan Young.
