The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service didn’t violate federal law when it found a trio of liquefied natural gas projects in Texas wouldn’t jeopardize ocelots and jaguarundis, the Fifth Circuit ruled Wednesday.
The agency provided a detailed analysis on the effects of a pipeline and export terminals proposed by Rio Bravo Pipeline Co. LLC, Rio Grande LNG, and Annova LNG including habitat loss, human disturbance, and noise and vehicle collisions, according to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
