Tesla Sued Over Alleged Sexual Harassment, Retaliation in Texas

Tesla, Inc. was sued Friday for alleged sexual harassment, including requests for sex, sending graphic photos and unwanted touching.

Chantanee Moore sued Tesla in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, alleging sexual harassment and retaliation under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Moore claims she was subjected to a hostile work environment and quid pro quo sexual harassment by a coworker, Kevin Thornton. She alleges Tesla failed to properly investigate his pattern of behavior and address her complaints of harassment at Tesla’s manufacturing facility in Austin, Texas.
