Tesla Sued by Newly Formed West Texas Charging Patent Company

Tesla Inc. was accused of infringement by the owner of six smart-charging patents in a Texas federal lawsuit.

ChargeLogic LLC accused the company of copying its patented technology through sales of the Tesla Model 3, Y, S, X, Cybertruck, and Semi vehicle lines and charging equipment for those vehicles, according to a complaint filed in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas’ one-judge Midland/Odessa Division.
