Terrorism Victims Get Case Against Iranian Bank Reinstated

A lawsuit by Americans alleging that an Iranian bank funded the rocket attacks in Israel that caused their injuries was revived by the Second Circuit Thursday, because its dismissal by the district court was based on a mistake of fact.

The district court operated under the mistaken belief that it lacked personal jurisdiction over the bank, the opinion by Judge Gerard E. Lynch said.
