Target is being sued by consumers for allegedly misrepresenting beauty products by promoting them as “clean” and free of harmful ingredients.
The customers accuse Target of selling products as “clean” when they actually contain ingredients that could harm consumers and the environment, according to a proposed class action filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the District of Minnesota.
“Target has caused significant harm to consumers looking for cleaner beauty products for both them and the environment,” the lawsuit claims.
