The US Supreme Court wrestled with whether a new hearing is required for an Arizona man on death row who’s been before the court previously.

Justices on both sides of the court’s ideological line seemed to agree at argument on Wednesday that a federal appeals court didn’t properly weigh the evidence in the case before ruling Danny Lee Jones was prejudiced at sentencing by an ineffective lawyer.
