Supreme Court Likely to Side With Reservists in Pay Dispute

The US Supreme Court seemed likely to side with reservists and say that the government must pay federal employees called up for active duty the same salary as they receive doing their civilian jobs.

The pay for reservists can often be substantially less than the pay for their civilian jobs. Approximately 200,000 reservist—about 20% of all reservists—are also federal civilian employees.
