Suit Over Coin-Operated Laundry Revenue Partially Scrubbed

Coin-operated laundry company CSC ServiceWorks Inc. largely lost its bid to escape a lawsuit by a real estate management company.

RBB2 LLC’s claim that ServiceWorks’ new “administrative fee” was unjust enrichment will be dismissed, but with a chance for the company to revive it, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California ruled. RBB2’s claim for breach of contract, and its attempts to get the case certified as a class action, will be allowed to go forward.
