A pair of criminal convictions for a man accused of orchestrating straw gun buys so he could trade the weapons for drugs was upheld Thursday by the US. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Rejecting Nakia Adams’ claims his Speedy Trial Act rights were violated, the appeals court unanimously affirmed his convictions for being a felon in possession of a firearm and for lying to federal firearms dealers.
