Ross Weingarten joined Steptoe as a partner in its investigations and white-collar defense practice in New York, the firm announced Wednesday.
Weingarten joins from the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Connecticut, where he was an assistant United States attorney. As an AUSA, he investigated and prosecuted fraud cases involving accounting, investors health care, and charged defendants with corruption, insider trading, market manipulation, and money laundering.
