Claims that State Farm Automobile Insurance Co. engaged in horizontal price fixing and group boycotts to short change body shops performing repair work on insured vehicles in three states can’t proceed, the Eleventh Circuit said Friday.
The antitrust arguments presented by the body shops in Mississippi, Indiana and Utah were similar to those rejected by the appeals court last year, Judge William H. Pryor Jr. said for the court.
