Wynnewood Refining Co. and Calumet Shreveport Refining LLC filed separate suits challenging the Environmental Protection Agency’s denials of their requests seeking small refinery exemptions to renewable fuel standards.
Both refineries petitioned for review of the EPA’s denials specifically for the 2023 compliance year with the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit on Thursday.
