Sidley Helps JPMorgan Unit Close $1 Billion Growth Equity Fund

Sidley Austin represented a JPMorgan Chase & Co. unit on the close of its inaugural growth equity fund targeting investments in companies before they go public.

JPMorgan Growth Equity Partners’ fund raised over $1 billion in capital commitments from a broad range of institutions, family offices, and individual investors across the Americas, Europe, and Asia as well as from JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Launched in 2021 as part of JPMorgan Private Capital, Growth Equity Partners aims to invest in pre-initial public offering opportunities across a range of asset classes and sectors including consumer, technology, and sustainability.
