Senate Republicans Prepare to Vote on New Budget Plan
Senate Republicans are aiming to vote late this week — and possibly into the weekend — on an updated budget framework to clear the ways for a massive reconciliation package encompassing President Donald Trump’s agenda.
Senate Budget Committee Chair Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) unveiled the new budget plan yesterday. The framework keeps House Republicans’ own budget resolution intact, but sets new, significantly scaled back spending cut floors for Senate committees.
