The Supreme Court is going to hear four cases the week of May 4 to kick off this month’s historic argument sitting.
Its first foray into arguments-by-phone will feature two women, an uncommon occurrence at the high court. One of them—Lisa Blatt—is making her 40th such appearance. Her voice, as well as those of opponent Erica Ross and the justices, will be broadcast to the public live by C-Span and other news outlets.
Bloomberg Law’s Kimberly Robinson and Jordan Rubin breakdown that initial case as well as the three others being argued during the week, from IP to free speech to religious freedom. And they’ll highlight some of the technical issues facing the justices and the advocates.
They’ve also scouted the entire two-week session for those of you following the action from wherever you are.
Hosts: Kimberly Robinson and Jordan Rubin
