- Second Amendment back at high court for first time in a decade
- Also cases on environment cleanup, state copyrighting its legal code
The first Second Amendment argument in nearly a decade headlines the December oral argument session at the U.S. Supreme Court. This Cases and Controversies sneak peek episode previews that case and the other five disputes before the high court the week of Dec. 2.
In addition to arguments over a strict New York City gun provision—which is no longer in force, thus potentially mooting the issue—the justices will also take on a diverse array of disputes on copyright, the environment, and ERISA, among others.
For more on the gun case, check out our deep dive interview with constitutional law professor Josh Blackman.
Hosts: Kimberly Robinson and Jordan Rubin.
