Attorneys for the billionaire Schottenstein family argued Thursday that a Delaware court should dismiss fraud allegations brought by cannabis company Moxie after its failed merger with a Canadian business backed by the family.
Moxie doesn’t have any viable claims against the family, an attorney for the Schottensteins, Christopher Hogan of Zeiger Tigges & Little LLP, said during a hearing in Delaware’s Chancery Court. The Schottensteins oversee prominent retail brands including American Eagle Outfitters Inc.
