Schnader Harrison Approves Closure Plan After 89-Year Run

Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis partners voted Wednesday to finalize the Philadelphia-founded law firm’s closure after 89 years in business.

The final day of operations will be Aug. 31, according to Leslie Corwin, a Duane Morris attorney overseeing the wind down. “It’s a sad day for Schnader and it’s a sad day when a firm like Schnader dissolves,” he said.

The firm, which has represented Dollar Tree Inc., Target Corp. and Ford Motor Co., announced the dissolution last week. Work for clients will continue this month, Schnader Harrison said.
