Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is appealing her loss in the defamation suit she filed against the New York Times.

The 2008 Republican notified U.S. District Judge Jed Rakoff on Thursday that she’s taking the case to the federal appeals court in New York without waiting for him to first rule on her requests for a new trial and to disqualify himself from the case.
