The San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District won’t face as a class action claims by a group of religious former employees that the denial of exemption from the agency’s Covid-19 vaccine mandate cost them their jobs.

The US District Court for the Northern District of California’s ruling Sunday shows the difficulties workers often face when seeking class certification in religious discrimination lawsuits challenging an employer’s Covid vaccine requirements.
