Republicans Call for Reversal of Obergefell

The Republican Party’s official 2016 Platform, adopted July 18 by delegates to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, advocates the reversal of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Obergefell v. Hodges, 83 U.S.L.W. 4592, 2015 BL 204916, U.S., 6/26/15, recognizing the right of same-sex couples to marry.
