RBC Hires Abrusci as Head of Its U.S. Capital Markets Law Group

Royal Bank of Canada hired Credit Suisse Group AG’s Matt Abrusci as head of its U.S. capital markets law group.

Abrusci starts Jan. 13 as a managing director at the lender’s office in Jersey City, New Jersey, according to a memo to staff. He’ll lead a team of legal professionals providing advice and support to the capital markets division on specialized areas of law as well as legal, regulatory and reputational risk, Colleen Myers, associate general counsel, said in the memo.
