A Puerto Rican trade association’s challenge to a series of regulations related to freight tariffs adopted by the commonwealth was properly dismissed, a federal appellate court said.
Cámara de Mercadeo, Industria y Distribución de Alimentos, Inc. brought its suit under the Puerto Rico Oversight Management Stability Act, but waived any argument against the district court’s conclusion that the statute doesn’t create a private right of action, the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit said.
