Prudential Settles Constructive Firing Claims by Female Employee

Prudential Insurance Co. of America and a former employee have agreed to a deal ending her suit alleging that her transfer to a new position was sex discrimination.

A joint notice filed Sept. 28 in the US District Court for the District of Kansas said that the parties reached a final settlement of all of Kara Miller’s claims and requested 30 days to file a joint stipulation of dismissal. No details of the settlement were provided.
